I try to keep myself informed. Although, despite identifying myself as a Christian, I do not ascribe to any denomination of Christianity.

Why would they want to anyways, since they think, they know how the story is going to end.

  5. Aly W says:

i am a christian i and i like to know what is going on around the world.

it might just be the people themselves, i doubt it has anything to do with them being christians. which is kinda the sad thing i guess… cuz being chrisians, the really should be concerned shouldnt they?

  6. Pat says:

I can’t say that I read it everyday…just don’t have the time really. But I do try to keep up with what goes on.

And please, just because a few Christians you know don’t seem to care about all that, don’t class us all together.

  7. Arcanum Noctis says:

It isn’t just Christians and it isn’t all Christians. A large portion of the population thinks in terms of local. That portion of the population doesn’t really have a clue about the world as a whole, especially geo-politics etc..

Its an American thing I think. Im a fundie and Im a news junkie! I know many who belong to the church of Paris Hilton who could care less; that is the basic mentality purported in our country. Keeps us busy so we dont notice whats *really* happening.

I love reading the world news, I’m a catholic. Sometimes the local news just gets a bit boring but I like to be informed so I can have intelligent conversation. Something which, sadly, seems absent from R&S

  10. The_Cricket: Shmily says:

I do. I kind of have to. I’m an American, living in Europe, so I pay attention to stuff that’s going on in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Far East.

  11. Born Again Atheist says:

Quite the contrary. Christians are trying to force their way into government so they can control every aspect of civic and social life. This requires a close scrutiny of the daily goings on in America.

But, yeah, sometimes they are in the dark about things. If they hear something’s sinful they won’t come anywhere near it. They might all decide not to see a movie or buy a CD because the other Christians said it was blasphemous.
