Is it possible to have one common world religion?

Why I ask this question, it is because most people fight for the seek of their belief(s). One would say there’s is the right religion, others say the same thing. Worst, some say, there’s no God to believe. May be if we have one world religious belief, fighting would be less and harmony toward each other possible.

If all the church leaders of different sects will practice humility and unite all together for the common good may be if would be become possible. What do you think?

lol! that would make it easier for corruption and greed to take control, easier to control the masses.

Here is my question to you… If there was one world religion…which one would you want to follow and what happens if it is not the religion you like? Many people claim they want a one world religion, but what if it happens to be the one you despise?

This is no longer possible because it’s too late. There is no climbing out of this grave.

…and I wish everyone could unite, but we won’t.

Ever notice when you drive through a town that there are 20 churches on the same road? They may all be “Christian” churches, but they compete with each other. Sometimes, they’re right across the street from each other. There are Baptist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, Evangelical, non-denominational, etc. etc. etc. and they all believe they have the “true” doctrine. People of the SAME faith can’t even agree on something; people of different faiths can not either.

If there were an actual real “god” or real religion out there, it would be apparent and we would have already agreed on its existence because we would have some kind of proof. Since there isn’t, we just choose a random story to explain our existence and fight with others when their story doesn’t match ours.

Not very possible. People all believe that their religion is the “right” one or the “true” one, and if their version is true, how can others be true as well, especially if the values/teachings conflict with each other? So there’s a very low chance of all religions uniting and forming one single world religion.

Great idea! Godly in fact! Unfortunately absolutely impossible. Just try to imagine a red-necked, Bible thump’n, republican, Texan converting to Islam. Or a Mormon converting to a JW. Even God couldn’t make this happen! You are the kind of a person I’d like to have as a friend. If there is a God and a life hereafter, I hope God gives you a really great reward ’cause you’re a person of beautiful peace and hope and love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless and goodbye.

i don’t see buddhists fighting hindus or vice versa.

    the troublemakers are … muslims.

ecumenism is satan’s dream to unite everyone under him … but .. the creature can NEVER include christians.

Since each religion is trying to do this, (for the sake of control lets face it) that would only give too much power to one religious body in order to monopolizing control. Then they would have access in brain washing all the stupid fools that humans, to one solidified opinion on everything. This is a big enough problem already as it is.

One world religion = End times

We’re gonna eventually have a one world religion. It’s already being planned by all world leaders. But this will usher in the arrival of the antichrist.

  14. Pukirahe says:

    Yes and No.
Yes, when each individual consciously seeks urgently and independently the One True God, the Creator and Sustainer of all worlds, and enters under His almighty guidance.
No, when various groups keep on following their worldly leaders with their outdated doctrines.
The YES is more probable, because world events will tell everybody that no world leaders can guide human beings to any glorious destination.
