    NO

  2. athene_noctua20 says:

I think such speculation is silly.

And no, I would not like such a thing to happen.

  3. OneLostSoul says:

I think it would create even more chaos and madness than we already live with

    Way way way much more…

  4. kinetochore says:

    bleck!

That would be a great way to piss people off.

  5. Kitty in da HOOD! says:

    Supposing this happened?

Maybe Islam because they will use force…

  6. Patio of Fun says:

I’m doubting that a world religion will be mandated soon. The Muslims seem to be the best at supressing other faiths in their midst, to the extent that they outbreed the other faiths, they will probably smother the globe eventually.

  7. hugo says:

No! The United States was founded on religious freedom. Many people come to our shores to escape oppression of any kind to include religion.

  8. pmay says:

NO, of course I don’t like it. I have this thing called “Religious Freedom”, I seem to remember our country being founded on this.

  9. Insomniatic Mushroom says:

I hope a mandated world religion NEVER happens, as it would probably be Christianity. Ugh.

  10. unknownspiritx5 says:

Strange, I’ve never heard of such a thing. But even if it was true, humanity will die fighting against it before one “world religion” actually is created.

  11. Preme says:

god is a god thatgives you free will so i don’t agree with it

  12. Born Again Atheist says:

Good luck with that. I want no part of it.

  13. randompanther enigma says:

I would fight it with my life if necessary.

  14. Goldar says:

    …evil…

for those who do not believe, it will give you proof of God, only it will not be from God…

  15. cosmo says:

the only good thing that could come out of that would be the end of religious wars.

  16. science chick says:

    Soon? Yeah right.

I am not for forcing ideas on people, religion or otherwise.

Conflicts would not be ended, they would just be swept under the rug until someone got pissed enough to do something about it.

  17. Infinitexpress says:

    “mandated soon”.

By who? The world will have to be under a unified dictatorship. As far as I know there are hundreds of sovereign nations and no evil geniuses bent on world domination right now, and no indications of such a thing happening soon.

whoever predicts this is just paranoid and has too much time on their hands. Its impossible to do something like this.

What would I think of it? Nothing less than I would think of any other kind of world wide tyranny.

  18. ~*IaMbLeSsEd*~ says:

I don’t even want to know what that “religion” might be. It would never work; there are too many devout believers in the world who wouldn’t give up their own faith (including me).

  19. Jessica R says:

Can’t think of anything good that would outweigh the chaos that would come from something like that.

  20. hallel says:

It would be all of them together….and then they will destroy it.

  21. nic g says:

AgH…if it did happen it probably would be the christians to force their religion upon us
im buddhist but not everything buddhist is good. being too passive can lead to problems

  22. S A says:

We already have mandated laws. Some of these laws have been in existence since the beginning of the world, nation, government, and so on. It really depends on how mandated you confer? Will this mandated religion force you to comply with their order of worship? Will this mandated religion force you to worship the god of this religion? Will this mandated religion force the representation of its’ religious order to behave unseemly? These are the questions that need to be answered. Because laws change, people change, and so does the order of life in our present age.

One thing I have learned about God in all of my obsessions, is. God does not force any individual to comply with anything. God asks us to. God allows the freedom of choice. God allows us to use our own good judgments. This is why God has said; “Come now let us reason together…”

  23. baldpagan says:

What, where on the good Earth did you hear that crap? It will never work…For one big reason, the main monotheist religions would boycott or even physically attack it…We all know how intolerant they are, especially the good & understanding jewish, christian & islamic fundamentalists. They would rather die (while taking innocent lives) than join something like that! Boy you really know how to en-flame the emotions in everyone!

  24. My name is V {'!'} says:

One world one family was stated as Vasudev Kutumbkam in Hinduism. Being human is a world religion.
