See, not every Christian agrees with Camping, in fact, I would guess that the vast majority of Christians in American and worldwide do not agree with him.
What I cannot figure out is, why is the media reporting any of this anyway? Are there not real issues to be covered? Scandals and corruptions in governement? How can they be watchdog on government abuse when they are too busy writing nonsense stories about nonsense?

People are sooooooooo very stupid.
During my long life, I’m 78, there have been a large number of these crackpot ‘predictions’. All of them were reputed to come from demented preachers – mostly based in the USA. The stories turn up every 10 – 20 years to entertain school children. The first one of these that I’m aware of was in approx 1947. We all stopped work at the 11.00 am deadline – and carried on again when the minute hand clicked on to 11.01!
