He made his new territory along the Tana river, but when the Wakamba herdsmen kept bringing their livestock to his hunting ground, he moved on. George Adamson said in his autobiography, “I used to count the days on which we hadn’t seen Christian, but when they reached 97, I gave up recording them in my diary.” Because a lion can live from 12 to 15 years in the wild, Adamson believed that Christian ended his days in the Meru

    Yeah you? obviously know everything, but couldnt there be a strong possibilty or even a slight one that this is true? That everything told was the truth?

    @xdragontzix Please go read the book “A Lion Called Christian” or watch either of the two documentaries “A Lion at? World’s End” or “Christian the Lion”. Perhaps you will think differently about the validity of this video after you do. But please show some respect. George (The third man in the video) was the lions’ rehabilitator into the wild and he did a spectcular job. George was murdered by poachers in 1989. His autobiography,” My Pride and Joy”, can tell you more about George and lions.

    @xdragontzix Please go read the book “A Lion called Christian” or watch either of the two documentaries “A Lion at Worlds End” or “Christian the Lion”. The original clip was not posted by the two owners, who while they are fine young men are not very tech savey, but by Lisa Williams in 2008 without audio. It has since been strewn about? the internet and had various audio tracks added to it.

    The story is touching, and the idea behind it is great, but this is most definitely fake. There is absolutely nothing wild about these lions. They’ve lived in? captivity their whole lives. They are very familiar with these professional animal handlers. Anyone that thinks you can release a lion back into the WILD and then approach a year later without expecting apprehension is an idiot. Especially if it has established power in it’s community by heading a pride. Clearly his wife is tame too.

    OMG,? and they call them wild animals!!!! I’d rather live with them than most people!!! My second listing on my bucket list is to spend time in the wild, if I run into bad luck, so be it, I’m dying anyway, at least it will be short and sweet!!!! :}
