3/9/12 – Dennis Prager introduces this segment and then reads an article by Michael Oren in the Wall Street Journal (online.wsj.com Transcript: “Those of you who have faith in world opinion, please know, it is doing nothing. As far as the United Nations is concerned, they devote massive amounts of time to Islamophobia. So let me assert, for the record, that what there is in this world is Christianophobia. But there’s no word for it, because the Left makes up our political vocabulary, and they are uninterested in persecution of Christians. If what were happening to Christians were happening to Jews or Muslims, there would be a worldwide outcry. But there is not only no worldwide outcry of the decimation of Christian communities in the middle east, there isn’t even a worldwide Christian outcry. Christians have gone from 20% of the Middle East a century ago to less than 5% today. In Egypt 200 thousand Coptic Christians fled their homes last year, after beatings and massacres by Muslim Extremist mobs. Since 2003, 70 Iraqi churches have been burned, and nearly a thousand Christians killed in Baghdad alone, causing more than half of the million Iraqi Christians to flee. Conversion to Christianity is a capitol offense in Iran, where last month Pastor Yusuf Nadarkhani was sentenced to death. Saudi Arabia outlaws private Christian prayer. As 800 thousand Jews were once expelled from Arab countries, so are Christians being forced from lands they have inhabited for centuries
