Christian game reviews for MMORPG?

Question by Ginny R: Christian game reviews for MMORPG?
I’m looking for a website that has reviews for MMORPGs from a Christian perspective. Not Christian-based MMORPGs, but for regular mmorpgs like Ragnarok, Guild Wars.

Anyone know any site like that?

Seems like almost every mmorpgs out there has some form of gods/godesses. Some even force you to pledge loyalty to these deities in order to advance in the game. I’m looking for an mmorpg that doesn’t have any of these.
For those of you who don’t believe me, here’s a sample of a game that forces you to pledge loyalty to a deity:

Elf online – http://elf.happymmo.com/

You can roam around in the land up to level 10, but if you want to have any skill at all beyond that, you have to pledge to some goddess.

And for the record, maybe most people are comfortable with the idea of bowing down before a fake deity. But I’m not. I’ve read enough from the Old Testament to know what happened to all those people who worshipped false deities, sincere or not.

Why do you care about what Christians say about games? They arent game professionals, go to Gamespot or IGN.

Ugh, it’s a video game, please get over it…in any case type in “Christian game reviews”

EVE Online doesn’t feature gods, goddesses, or even magic.

Why would you care about fictional material, anyway?

world of warcraft makes you choose a side, the horde or the alliance, but no pledges for gods or godesses are necessary.

It’s not a sacreligious thing in the game, your pledging your “character” to the deity, not yourself.
I doubt God will be dissappointed in you for allowing a 3d model to pledge itself to another 3d model that a team of computer geniuses called a God.

Anybody that does pledge their real lives to an MMO has issues.

Well, I tried hard, but I couldn’t find video game reviews from a Christian perspective. Might wanna Google that and look deeper. I DID however, find this website. It’s not that great, but check it out anyways.

The killing, maiming, and violence isn’t a problem? Just the god/goddess aspect? I don’t know why I find that funny.

    IT’S JUST A GAME.
