Building upon our Footsteps of Christ Tours, you will experience everything from these tours with additional attractions and sites to make it a “Grand” Holy Land Tour of a lifetime. Start your tour in the city that never sleeps Tel Aviv, from here you will drive over the costal fertile lands to Caesarea, an amazing Roman port complete with a large amphitheatre built by the famous King Herod. Continue to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon. Drive to the beautiful port city of Haifa, on the Mediterranean Sea, visit world famous Persian Gardens of Bahai Temple, from here drive to the Galilee where the ministry of Jesus began.
Arrive at a Kibbutz where you will learn about life in a Kibbutz. The next day enjoy the highlights of the tour including taking a comfortable boat ride across the Sea of Galilee to Capenaum,. Visit the site of Multiplication, pray in the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount, and drive to Banias Spring where Jesus was recognized as the Messiah by his Disciples. Begin a new day with a drive to Nazareth, here you shall visit the Church of the Annunciation, St. Joseph’s Workshop and Mary’s Well. Appreciate the Golden City with a view of Mount of Olives, enter the Old City and visit the Church of All Nations, Mount Zion, the tomb of King David, and the Room of the Last Supper, see and touch the Temple Mount and Western Wall. Walk along the Via Dolorosa, where Jesus carried His Cross. Continue to the Church of Holy Sepulchre, and see the Garden Tomb. The next day brings New Jerusalem experiences with Yad Vashem, Israel’s memorial to the victims of the Holocaust. Continue to the birth place of John the Baptist Ein Karem, and from there Bethlehem.* to visit the Church of Nativity. The following day brings impressive natural and man made marvels, mirror once more an ancient travel route through the Judean Desert to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Drive along the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, and ascend by cable car to Massada, the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D. After an impressive view and tour on top of Massada, time and weather permitting, enjoy floating on the Dead Sea, where the waters and mud are said to have wonderful medicinal benefits. After a day of a lifetime, return to Jerusalem for dinner and rest. To continue on your “Grand” holy land experience, travel south to the Negev desert, visit the Israeli Air Force Museum and hear the stories of this brave fighting force protecting the Holy Land. For something different visit a Bedouin tent, and stop for a camel ride. Overlook the magnificent Zin Valley, stop and gaze into the Ramon Crater, a geological wonder. Rest and over night in Eilat where the next day you have the option of a day of leisure in this beautiful Read Sea beach destination, the most popular sun drenched beach for Israelis, or take an optional tour to the amazing Rose City of Petra in Jordan.
