We met on a Christian Mingle site. He started in with the love talk fairly quick. He was calling and when it came him wanting to meet in person, he did not want to come to America. He said travel would be easier for me because he would have to request a visa from his country, South Africa. Now, he never calls me and we IM but, I do not really want to be bothered with being emotionally enthraled with someone so far away. I am a woman and feel safer if he were to come here. Another thing is that he wants me to stay at his apartment; I feel that any person traveling that far to meet a stranger should have their own space. Meaning, stay at a hotel. He disappeared for 4 days a few weeks ago and I was upset because he just did not think about how I would feel. He did not see why I was upset. He said he was busy but, if he did not make time in a busy situation by typing a message, what would I expect from him all the way in China?

Do not go to China! To me this sounds a little creepy. By just talking and emailing this guy you really do not know who he is. He may have a family all ready or be a serial killer. If he really wanted to meet you that bad and thought you two had a connection he would have no problem coming to meet you. Just make sure if he does come to meet him in a public place.
U should tell him how u feel that is if u DO have feelings 4 him. but to be SAFE dont do anything as long as u DONT have feelings 4 him. I mean he could be a 40 yr old sex offender!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think you have a right to feel this way and take your own advice and stay here. Your insticts never prove you wrong the first time. You don’t know him well enough to travel halfway around the world for him. As a man he should be trying to do something too. For him to flat out tell you he won’t come here to America because of a Visa is not a good sign. If he was truly serious about you he would be doing anything to see you not the other way around. Your feelings count here, please think about talking and finding someone with a little more heart and respect for you. You deserve this.
